The Nivea Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin has a new home, and I have since found out that this little jar of white cream shot to stardom quite recently after it was discovered that the Duchess of Cambridge, better known to us as Kate Middleton, is a devout fan. Not that I quite believe that, I'm not slating Nivea at all but surely if you can pick any skincare brand/product in the world, would you head to Boots and pick up the on offer Nivea? I think not.
Onto the cream itself, its thick and consistent but defiantly feels like it has some sort of gel in it, I actually found it quite greasy and emollient. I know it is for sensitive skin but this was just a tad too much grease for my liking. The scent is very natural but heavily floral, it's a little overpowering on the skin for my liking but this does decrease throughout the day luckily as I didn't want to walk round smelling like a ladies powder room, but you can smell the strong chamomile without a doubt. Annoyingly while this did moisture fairly well I still had patches of dry and flaky skin after using this, and I had to reapply more about 4 hours later as my skin felt tight.
This has safely won a place in my 'meh' moisturisers, and its not bad for a £3.57 purchase, but I would not pay the normal £5.10 for this.
